Westcourt Farm used to be a working farm but we now just have paddocks and wildflower fields. We maintain the walking paths around our land for public use. We keep geese and, in the winter, sheep. We also have a small dog.

We have an outdoor-heated swimming pool which guests are welcome to use during the summer, at a convienent time. We can also arrange tennis & golf and can advise on walks and bike rides.

Nearby there is the Kennet and Avon canal (Kennet_and_Avon_Canal) with a good tow-path and popular stopping place at Great Bedwyn.

Three miles away is Savernake Forest.  It has numerous routes for cars and is open to the public for walking.

The Shalbourne Gliding Club (Shalbournegliding club) are within a mile up on Rivar Down, which also has good walks to the famous Combe Gibbet where paragliding also takes place.

The village has a new constructed playground and a 13th century church. The pub (The Plough) and the village shop (Shalbourne Stores) are a short walk away.

There are a variety of eating places locally including friendly pubs, Indian, Thai and Italian. The one starred Michelin Harrow restaurant at Little Bedwyn is very popular and there are numerous places in Marlborough.
